Have any of you tried this? Amazon (among other sites) has peels for sale with varying percentages. The Beauty Brains commented once that dermatologists use peels over 20%.
Hi, I have had mild glycolic peels done years ago in a beauty salon but they soon started using mild lactic acid instead because it is supposed to be less drying ( I have to say I had better results with the lactic peels) . I am not sure about the percentages but thatÂ’s why I go to someone who knows what they are doing. So if I were you I would go first to someone who can administer a very mild peel (some salons will do this in a course of 6 peels over 12 weeks) and see if you like the results. You may not even need anything stronger, but if you do, I would go to someone skilled . Oh, and be extra careful to apply sunscreen because you will be extra UV sensitive.
