This is becoming an 'Old' subject. Wen products work well for some people and not so great for others, just like ANY haircare line. The concept is NOT NEW, I have friends who have used conditioner to wash their hair since the 1970's. And several haircare companies have introduced 'Non-Shampoo' cleansing systems over the years with little success. The only way to know if this works for you is to buy it and try it - OR - Buy one of the imitators out there like 'HAIR ONE' at Sally Beauty. You could also try using a good name brand conditioner instead, the ones that DON'T USE SILICONE seem to work the best for most people also, the 'Extra Body' or 'Fine Hair' formulas seem to leave hair cleaner and the ones for Damaged, Chemically Treated or Colored hair seen to leave hair more moisturized. A good method to see if a conditioner might work well for this before buying it would be to put a small dab (About the size of a pea) on the back of your hand and rub it in - if it disappears without leaving a residue, it may work well. If it leaves an Oily or Sticky residue it may not be a good choice. In order to make the conditioner method work it is suggested that you leave the hair dripping wet like you were using shampoo and use a slightly larger amount of conditioner than normal and work it through the hair not the scalp if the conditioner foams a bit it will rinse out cleaner.
