Salicylic acid and PH in a lipid
  • I know that Salicylic Acid only works as an exfoliant in a solution with a ph between 3 and 4.

But what about lipids? I have a product containing almost only petrolatum and lanolin and a little bit of salicylic acid. It's about 99% lipids so it doesn't make sense to talk about ph, and I can't get any ph value to show up.

Would it work as an exfoliate?
