Hi I have a couple of questions that I am looking for advice on. I am 38 and have mild acne. I am looking for advice on what anti-aging products I can use along with an an acne treatment system such as Murad or Proactive. I think I want something with peptides (?). There is so much out there that I get confused and am not sure what to buy. Has anyone had sucess with a combination?
Thank you!
Hi! I have tried using Plumping Cream, a mineral skin care product, with Proactive. At first, I did not apply that on my whole face. Just part of my face, to make sure that it wouldn't worsen my acne problem. And it did good. And one more thing, Plumping Cream has oligopeptides. I hope this would help you.
I have been on Clindamycin for my acne problem. I can find the information about this topical antibiotic gel at
http://www.internationaldrugmart.com/clindamycin.html . This antibiotic gel prevents the growth of bacteria on the skin and it is effective and works for me at all. Great Help With Recovery.
There are foods that you can eat that will help reduce the depletion of collagen in your skin and boost your antioxidant intake. A diet full in antioxidants can prevent wrinkles!! Here are 3 fruits: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/5888916/3_antiaging_fruits.html?cat=69. Enjoy! :)
Nor Guava, cherries, nor blueberries will prevent wrinkles... This article is simply not based on any scientific evidence (if you have ever seen one I would be glad to see it). Studies on antioxidants are quite controversial, and here is no proof that topical or antioxidants from food will reduce your wrinkles.
Fruits and veggies are good for you, but they won't have any effect on wrinkles. Also drinking a lot of water won't help either (this myth is still alive...). It's not that simple.
''Antioxidants can not eliminate wrinkles or other effects of aging simply because growing old is a natural process of life. Skin thickness increases with age , while skin elasticity decreases; this can not be avoided''. (yes, photoaging can be avoided staying out of sun and using sunblock, but here is not much to do for chronological aging).
