Good hair products are pricey! where can I buy chemicals to make my own?

    I hate spending money to purchase hair products! I would love to buy the chemicals and make my own and maybe make some money in the process. Thanks for any help offered!

    Well, if you're looking to save money you're not likely to do it by buying your own chemicals and making your own products. Large companies can buy chemicals in large quantities and that lowers the price significantly.

    For example, if you tried to buy Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, it might cost you $2.00 per pound. A big company could get it for less than 50 cents a pound.

    But if you are still interested, go to the trade magazine website Happi and look up chemical suppliers. They even have formulas on there for you.
