  • Just used Biolustre' hair repair a week ago, and although it did strengthen my hair, it also dulled it. This product would probably be great for someone with chemically processed and damaged hair, but my hair was probably not bad enough to appreciate its benefits. I had read where someone was actually able to remove it from her hair by adding shampoo with baking soda for several washings (which would also be pretty harsh). She also suggested she found a much easier way, possibly by using essential oils or a natural product which she inferred she found was breaking down the polymers in the product. Unfortunately, this "easier" remedy was either zapped from the web site, or she never went into detail. Is anyone aware of some way to possibly rid the hair of the Biolustre', if even partially? I read from the Beautybrains post that Biolustre are probably made up of hair spray resins, so it is probably the Biolustre that dulled your hair. Did anyone know here what is the technology incorporated in the Biolustre to make it repair the hair?
  • Ditto to Dreniva's reply.  Here is the link to the BB's remarks about Biolustret hebeautybrains.com/2007/10/09/is-biolustre-a-bogus-buy/
  • You should request the material data sheets and see that you could drink the product without harm, not that you would want to.....it works and is non toxic.....for all hair types. Some things just work...I have been in this industry for 36 years...nothing like it.
  • If the hair was dull....it wasn't properly shampooed following the treatment. 2 shampoos working down hair shaft through ends.
  • "request the material data sheets and see that you could drink the product without harm" ok this is definitely not how you see if a product is safe or not. ridiculous no offense.
