  • I'm 98% sure what product this is, but I suppose Randy wants to answer first. ;)
  • I recognize this product too but let's leave brand names out of it for the moment and just focus on the science of the ingredients.

The moisturizing base of the product looks pretty solid with a combination of silicones (cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone) along with a good slug of water-binders/humectants (butylene glycol, glycerin, hyaluronic acid).

The star of the show, in our opinion, is niacinamide. Assuming it's present at a reasonable concentration, this ingredient is proven to brighten the complexion, erase wrinkles, reduce transepidermal water loss,  improve elasticity, and fight inflammation.

It's also chock full of antioxidants, which is a good thing, even though researchers disagree on how measurable the effect of antioxidants are on skin.

As long as this product is reasonable priced (around $20-$30 for a couple of ounces) then I'd say it's a good deal.
  • Great thanks so much Randy. I really appreciate this site and what you both do! It is very helpful. If you don't mind can list another products ingredients and ask your opinion on that as well? Thanks again :)

  • That's what were here for Shawn! Ask away.
  • Thanks so much, I sometimes get confused what I should look for in a product that will benefit the skin and help with anti aging etc.

Active: Titanium Dioxide (7.3%), Zinc Oxide (6.9%), Other: Water, Trioctyldodecyl Citrate, Butylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Steareth-2, Stearyl Heptanoate, Silica, Lecithin, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Gentiana Lutea (Gentian) Root Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Hordeum Vulgare (Barley) Extract, Betula Alba (Birch) Bark Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Laminaria Saccharina Extract, Saccharomyces Lysate Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seedcake, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sorbitan Tristearate, Linoleic Acid, Polyquaternium-51, Caprylyl Methicone, Sorbitol, Sodium RNA, PEG-40 Stearate, Caprylyl Glycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phytantriol, Stearic Acid, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Cellulose, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Stearyl Dimethicone, Ascorbyl Tocopheryl Maleate, Nordihydroguaiaretic Acid, Linolenic Acid, Pantethine, Bisabolol, Ceteth-2, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Polyglyceryl-6 Polyricinoleate, Steareth-20, Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate, Propylene Glycol Dicaprate, Sodium Stearate, Nylon-12, Citric Acid, Aluminum Hydroxide, Nylon-6, Hexylene Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, BHT, Phenoxyethanol, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides

  • This looks like a great lightweight facial moisturizer with effective levels of physical sunscreens. I also like the fact that it's fragrance free so it's less likely to irritate your skin. There's nothing here that's proven to have anti-aging benefits other than the sunscreens (and perhaps some of the antioxidants.) Looks good as long as the price is reasonable.
  • Great thanks so much Randy! I am glad I asked cause this was listed as one the best for anti aging purposes on a site a refer to alot, but I had doubts about the anti aging purposes this may give.
  • Well, remember that protection against photo-aging is also anti-aging and this product should do that nicely.
  • Ok thanks, will try and leave you alone for awhile now lol
