Not beauty, but health related.
  • I have this coworker who's always looking into alternative medicine and such. Yesterday she was telling me that it's been found that lethal doses of ecstasy  has been found to kill cancer cells. She also went on to say that they've found a way to make a lethal dose not lethal to anything but the cancer. Has anyone else heard this?
  • I haven't heard it but I'm rather skeptical.  Any time there is even a hint of something effective against cancer put out by legitimate researchers, it's big news.  That it hasn't been big news is telling.
  • That's what I think. She's a bit odd. Sweet, but odd. We started talking one day about plastic surgery, which I'm for as long as people don't get out of control with it like the cat lady and don't lie about it. I mentioned I wanted a breast reduction because I'm so big (DDD cup) that I have neck and shoulder pain all the time. She replied that I didn't need a reduction, I just needed a chiropractor. Wouldn't listen to me when I said I've already been that route and it didn't work.

  • Okay, for some reason every time I try to edit my above post the screen freezes.

Out of curiousity and boredom, I googled this and did find a bunch of news articles on it. But I still wonder why I haven't heard anything before now. Normally when anything is said to help with cancer you hear about it on tv, the internet, books, etc. I only see internet articles. Not even a clip of Doctor Oz or The Doctors jumping on the bandwagon.

  • I have problems editing posts, too.  Yeah, not to start a flame war with any other readers, but any time someone refers me to a chiropractor I tend to ignore the rest of their health advice.
  • There may be a problem with the Forum software. We're looking at upgrading to the latest version. I hope that will help.
