I tried posting this in the Get your Ya-Yas out thread that was started a while ago, but for some reason it just added it to my last comment from over a few months ago and did not come up as new.
This is an amazing piece of work...my dad sent me the link. Simply Beautiful.

I can't do it now because I'm at work but I'm going to watch it again when I get home and see how many of the faces I can identify. There were some that I didn't recognize at all. Anyone interested in trying to put together the complete list? I'm sure the list is out there someplace but no cheating!
I didn't have a chance to watch it last night. I'm going to watch it on my lunch and list as many as I can. On the first viewing, I'll just count the faces and post the number here so people can create a numbered list leaving blank the people that they don't recognize. If everyone posts their lists here, I'll compile them all and we'll see how many beauties we recognize.
It is amazing! There are also 2 or 3 lists already on the site. I was tempted to cut and paste it here, but I don't want to spoil the fun if you want to try to figure it our for yourselves.
I wrote my list but have been too busy and/or too lazy to post it. There are 75 faces in all in chronological order. I got all but two on the second half and embarrassed myself mightily on the first half. I can forgive myself for not recognizing some of the lesser known stars from 40 years ago but I got Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich mixed up, which is just inexcusable.
Has anyone seen the ad for Vaseline in the new Allure (around page 124 in the March issue?) It's a picture of hands arranged like shingle on a a roof with the tag line "Your skin is your shield from the elements." I think it's gorgeous and effective.
I went searching for it on-line. I couldn't find it but I did find lots of discussion of other Vaseline ads, including a similar add, which was a picture of fists. ( chexed.com/a/Funny_Funnies/ ) Apparently, this guy thinks the ad is funny but not effective. Also much discussed is Sarah Michelle Gellar ad, in which she appears naked. It's interesting that people made a fuss about these ads and the Dove ads, which involve nudity but aren't really sexual (in my opinion) but don't bat an eye at an ad with a young girl that's got clothes on but is clearly sexual.
Cate, I posted on the eye liner thread and my post was added to my previous post, which happened to be the last post in the thread. I assume it just combines your two posts if you double post. I just added an "*** update """ flag so I hope it's obvious I added something,
