I have a lot of blood vessels visible on the whites of my eyes and I wanted to know if you have suggestion on how to get rid of them. I feel that they age my eyes.
I've been getting sleep so I don't think that's the problem.
I'm 20 so its not due to age.
I wear contacts and I wear them for a long time so maybe it is due to this? Eye drops don't seem to help much.
Can this problem be corrected? Can blood vessels become permanent over time from eye contact use? Is there a way to reverse it?
Thanks everyone!
Contacts will certainly make the problem worse. Do you use wetting drops during the day? That will help although it won't get rid of the redness entirely. I just switched to a new brand of contacts. I've been wearing lenses made specifically for dry eyes for years. I had to switch to bifocal lenses so I'm seeing much better but the dryness and the redness that goes along with it have returned. I've got 3 or 4 different type of drops that I'm testing out. I'm trying to determine if any of them actually work any better. They've all got different active ingredients. Maybe we could all report here on what we like and don't like? I'm curious if there's any real difference.
