I've recently gotten into mascara.  I generally don't wear much eye makeup, and I stay away from eyeshadow because I like a simple look, I've always found it to be a pain, and primer or no primer (I've tried them all) my oily lids shed the stuff in no time.

So I got a subtle dark blue mascara to accentuate my blue-green eyes.  Here is my question--do I have to wear a blue or black eyeliner with it, or could I pull off another color?  I have a metallic charcoal (subtle sparkle) and a subtle metallic bronze brown, both of which look good on me with or without black mascara, but I've been afraid to try them with the blue.  Would any shade of brown automatically clash or could I do it if the blue mascara is subtle?
