Neuro-cosmetics, is it worth the hype?
  • Dear Brains,

I see quite a few cosmetics manufacturers lately who try to persuade me that their formulas are working on neuro-level and somehow influence muscle tension and what not to help fight wrinkles. Is it really so? Can a cream do it? For example Payot claims that their Ride Relax Regard eye cream is а "real skin-contracting corrective care for expression lines in the eye contour area and crow's feet." I'd like to provide the full ingredients list but then the message is getting too long :) I wonder if you could look it up and tell us, which of these ingredients are skin-contracting and can they really help fight wrinkles? How do you find the overall formula and would you invest in this eye cream?

Thanks a lot for your help!
  • Oh, i figured i can post ingredients in the comments :))
