I go to London a few times a year and the hard water wreaks havoc on my face -- since i'm in a hotel and not going to install a water softener, what to do? I've heard using evian to wash my face could help, but how about just a mist of mineral water after, to neutralize? I'll take any suggestions. Thank you!!
What kind of negative effects do you see? Are you sure that the water is the only variable versus lets say, the air travel time which can be drying to skin, using different products in London, etc?
i know what you mean msms, when I stay in Edinburgh my skin and hair are so happy to deal with soft water, and when I' back home in London is just to lacklustre and not its best
Thanks right brain, all the products are the same and my skin will clear up within a few days even if I'm off to another foreign city (not home). I couldn't say it's acne or pimples but red dots that sure look like it.
I had my best hair condition when I lived in London for two years. Now I live up North and the water is soft, it's great, means less soap needed to wash dishes, do laundry, etc. But I'm having bad skin. It could also be age and other factors I guess. I lived in London a decade ago when I was in my early 20s.
