Here's the short answer:
- Sal acid is keratolytic meaning it reduces the adhesion between skin cells so they shed more easily, this helps unclog pores.
- BP has antibacterial properties so it kills p. acne, the little bugger that causes acne.
- Sulfur is another skin peeling agent to help unclog pores.
- Note: BP and Sulfur are sold in combination so you get antibacterial and skin peeling.
