What is the difference in how salicylic acid, benzyl peroxide and sulfur work to get rid of acne?

Here's the short answer:
Sal acid is keratolytic meaning it reduces the adhesion between skin cells so they shed more easily, this helps unclog pores.
BP has antibacterial properties so it kills
p. acne
, the little bugger that causes acne.
Sulfur is another skin peeling agent to help unclog pores.
Note: BP and Sulfur are sold in combination so you get antibacterial and skin peeling.
