What's the deal with the "Fruit Stem Cells" advertised in NeoStrata's anti-aging gel?
  • I recently saw an ad for an anti-aging product that claimed to have "fruit stem cells" in it. Are these stem cells similar to human stem cells? If not, what are they? And regardless of what they are, are they effective?

Here's a link to the product on NeoStrata's Canadian website (I couldn't find the product on their international one): http://www.neostrata.ca/products/-category/multi-anti-aging/anti-aging-gel-with-fruit-stem-cells/149/
  • I have tried similar product which contain fruit
stem cells I don’t know that the stem cells it contains are similar to human
stem cells or not. But the creams which contain fruit stem cells are really
    effective.

  • I love neostrata as a brand. great glycolic acid creams, using one right now
  • Good to know!  MK is introducing a new anti-aging line and I was curious about the "plant stem cells" that is in these new products. According the info I was reading it said that the plant stem cells "help protect the integrity of the skin matrix, the source of skin firmness".
  • I'm looking into this one but I don't have a definitive answer yet.
