Is it true pulling your eyelid taut will cause wrinkles down the road
  • A makeup artist on youtube says that you aren't suppose to do that because it will cause wrinkles but how else am I supposed to effectively put on eyeliner?
  • Don't know the answer to your question, but I can tell you how I manage the whole eyeliner bit without stretching the eyelid. I use a pencil, do dots along the lashline and connect the dots. Then I swipe powder shadow over it (for staying power).

I try not to stretch and pull on the skin around my eyes because family pictures tell me the women in my family have issues with the skin sagging in that area enough already. So, just in case it matters, I don't.
  • I like getting a nice even line especially with liquid eyeliners I admit it, I do pull my eye taut. I'm am a teen though so I'm not too afraid of getting wrinkles yet lol
  • My teenage years were, shall we say, a while ago.   ;;)
  • I am glad that I know this stuff now so when I make more money I can make educated choices on my cosmetics. Don't worry you aren't missing much. Can't wait to graduate I want to do embalming after high school which does involve make up I was asking the BB if the formulations of mortuary cosmetics are different but I haven't gotten a response yet. :)
  • We are not familiar with mortuary cosmetics but I'll see if I can dig something.
  • Little bit of mortuary humor there Right Brain?  :D
  • LOL nice one Left Brain!
  • Heh, heh, I always enjoy a good play on words.

  • I tracked down the owner of a company that makes these products and I've asked him for some technical info. Stay tuned.
  • Omgosh I am soo excited. I am so curious of how they differ I know that the purposes are quite different. :)
