i saw on a blog that if you wanted more softness in your hair that you should look for behentrimonium in your ingredient listings on your conditioner. i was wondering if that's true because this one conditioning treatment i used by organix had that listed second on their ingredient list but it didn't detangle or make my hair any softer? so i'm a bit confused and wondered if this is even true?
Yes that's the catch about looking at ingredient lists. You can make some educated guesses about how the full product will perform based on looking at the ingredients but it's not an exact science because it depends on what else is in the formula.
Can you post the full ingredient list for the product? Or at least give me the exact name so I can look it up? Thanks.
I'm a little surprised you didn't like the Organix product. Based on the ingredients it appears to be a pretty good conditioner. The Frieda product appears to include lots of good conditioning agents as well but of course that's no guarantee that you'll like it. Maybe somebody with a similar hair type to yours, who's used this product, could chime in and give you some advice.
thank you! i was surprised too but for some reason it didn't untangle my hair at all! even when i got out of the shower my hair was still really tangly and when it dried it got worse! i have no clue! but i guess its all trial and error! thanks for the information though :)
