Do those elastic chin slings work to improve tone and eliminate sagging skin around the chin and neck? I don't want to invest in something that has no positive results. Have they been proven effective at reducing sagging skin ? Anyone out there, please comment. Thank you.
It seems to me that if this concept worked, then my bra would make my chest perky. It might prevent further droop but won't reverse the damage that time and nursing kids has done.
If you could wear it in day to day life like a bra it might be useful ;)
My aunt bought a chin sling and it does nothing but make her look in the mirror intently and say, "I think there's a difference, maybe a little... does my neck look different... no.. maybe" whilst turning all angles trying to convince herself.
It seems only think that sling does is make someone more inclined to succumb to the idea of a surgical neck lift- my aunt is going in for hers in 6 weeks.
But!!!
breasts weigh much more than necks. So a breast sling couldn't work. But given the weight of the chin and skin, isn't it possible to snug that turkey neck back in place ?
No.
You're fighting gravity.
You're also fighting your skin's natural loss of collagen and elastin which helps hold the skin tight against your body.
I highly doubt a sling will do much good.
