Has anyone tried Dr. Denese Products?
  • Hi,

I am looking (and have been for a while) a new skin care line. I just found Dr. Denese on the web and though it all sounds good I wanted to know if anyone has actually tried her products and if they are any better than anything else? Thanks :)
  • I have never tried these products but here is a quick wrap up by Paula Begoun on the line in general.  Hope it helps.
    Dr. Denese New York At-A-Glance
Strengths: Several well-formulated serums and moisturizers that are reasonably priced; a very good matte-finish, tinted sunscreen with zinc oxide; uses well-researched, proven ingredients that truly benefit skin, and uses them in higher concentrations than most skin-care lines.

Weaknesses: Some problem cleansers and toners; inclusion of unnecessary irritants such as lavender oil and menthol; limited options for sun protection; a few gimmicky, multistep kits that are easily replaced by other products in her line.

  • I personally haven't purchased any products for myself yet, but my mother purchased the Advanced Firming Facial Pads. She's used them for about a month and her skin looks a lot smoother and the wrinkles not as noticeable. I used a few for only a few days to see if they were compatible with my sensitive skin and they definitely made my skin smoother. I would recommend using the pads as your means of exfoliation. If you want, go to qvc.com and read the reviews. I say go for it !
