Why can't I use this eye cream on my upper lids?
  • I recently bought a new eye cream and the directions state "Do not apply on upper eyelids". I called the medispa where I bought it and asked one the beauticians why this was the case. She said that it was because I might get it in my eye. Is this right? It seems a little odd to me.

  • I second that. I noticed that my eye primers (Urban Decay Primer potion and Mac paintpots) no longer do it for me, my eyeshadows crease like crazy even after 6hours of wear. I put eye cream on top lid and I put sunscreen on as well. Could that be the reason? I'm experimenting today to see if it will crease even though I didn't put eye cream or sunscreen on upper lid. I don't feel comfortable not wearing eye cream on upper lid as it always gets very dry and tight and looks more wrinkly and I can't imagine not wearing sunscreen as I want protection everywhere, especially the eye area. I should mention I have very hooded eyes.
