I use oil-free acne wash by neutrogena, but I always wonder how long should I leave it on my skin in order for the ingredietns to actually work, or can I just lather apply and rinse with no waiting period?
I think it's no waiting period unless you're using one of those 2 in 1 wash and mask from Neutrogena. I personally find that product extremely irritating, but i'm prone to rosecea.
nope :) that's why AHA washes are quite useless, I remember this question came up on BB before and the consensus was you need to keep the wash on your face for quite a while for it to actually have effects. but I see you're talking about old free acne wash, it has a different purpose, like removing excess oil from your skin, so that doesn't really need a lot of time to be achieved.
:) i found that, for me, massaging my face wash into my skin for one min then i leave it on whilst i brush my teeth i then dampen my face massage for another couple of seconds before rinsing off works the best :) But i always use the more gentle natural face washes because my skin is quite prone to breakouts but it is still a little sensitive i personally use Natural Being manuka foaming cleanser normally £9 (its more for enlarged pores but is a great all rounder) mypure.com deliver worldwide too :) hope this helps xx
