What are some beauty-related products that you think are good gifts?

    Like, this year I'm giving my mom Paula's Choice AHA body lotion, which I have had great results with. I'm also going to give out Badger Balm cuticle cream, which is really popular on Makeup Alley. As you can probably guess, I haven't finished Christmas shopping.

    I think Neostrata AHA lotions are better :) I'm giving nail polish sets for those into nail art, also Clarins nude eyeshadow quad. Mum got Kiehl's Dark Spot Treatment. Urban Decay Naked palette is a good present for everyone who likes their makeup, also I've been coveting Fresh lipbalm collection. For cuticle cream the best I've tried is OPI Avioplex Exfoliating cuticle treatment, it has very high level of AHA and fixed my dry and ugly cuticles :) sally hansen cuticle remover is vile in comparison. Loads of brands have starter kits or assorted gift sets, a lot of them are very nice. Like Decleor, YSL, Fresh, Stila, Tigi, Murad, Ren, also bath oils are a nice gift like Aromatherapy Associates and the packaging is so lush. I think anything Chanel is also a great gift :)

    My idea of gifts is to spoil people and get them something more expensive than they usually use. Like Chanel or YSL mascara instead of Maybelline, NailsInc nailpolish instead of NYC

    If you have anyone you dislike on your list you could get them french fry lip balm: http://www.perpetualkid.com/french-fry-lip-balm.aspx or dill pickle or any other of the weird lip balms on that site. I'm not sure if this can count as beauty related but I love incense you can get really nice smelling ones at new age stores, I especially like a handmade one that smells like sage, cedar and sweetgrass. Relaxing has beauty benefits you know. ;) I don't think its necessarily a bad thing to get people drugstore beauty products and soaps for xmas. Especially if you know any teens. Lush also has gift packs and stuff that smells soo good my problem with their stuff is it isnt preserved probably sometimes.     If you have into more niche makeup colors there is of course manic panic and also sugar pill cosmetics and lime crime. There are some scents like vanilla that smell good on anyone so you could get them a vanilla body spray. Also a lot of people seem to like that badger company and they have a holiday deal on their site if you buy a certain number of stuff like say 5 soaps the price is lower and than you could give everyone some soap or lip balm. Also sex soaps candles that turn into massage oil thats edible. I think thats kewl for all your sexy friends.
