What does this ingrediant advertised do?

I have fine hair so I am up for anything to make it appear to have more volume. I am not sure if PBAE can be found in cheaper products or if it is unique to this product what does it do? Thanks Brains!
  • I did a quick search and couldn't find PBAE (also known as Polyalkylaminoester-1) in any other products. I'm guessing that Living Proof has an exclusive on this compound.
  • Those little rascals! Inventing up some new cancer sauce. Shame on thou. Look at this ridiculousness below, these same people that think buying into greenwashing and not eating any meat (which I dont judge but also think will not have a significant impact) are slut shaming all through the women's issues articles which are often poorly researched and are full of misinfo themselves. I think care2 is the home of concern trolling and slacktivism.

  • yummyjellybelly,

Have you tried the Living Proof Amp? My mom is always looking for products to give her thin, fine hair more volume, and I would like to know if you recommend it. I know it's really expensive, but it would make a good gift if it helps.

  • thats what she linked to :D
