What makeup colors should I use?

    I have very pale skin, brown eyes like Anne Hathaways color medium brown in warm tone and light brown in a cool tone. Any recommendations?

    Have you checked magazines where Anne Hathaway is on the cover? Most have a list of the makeup used in the cover shoot. That could help. It would at least give you a starting point.

    You could go for a freebie makeover at a department store. Or not. Sometimes those are more trouble than they are worth because of the pressure the salespeople put on you to buy products. 

    There are websites with advice from professional makeup artists that might prove helpful. You can get all sorts of tips on proper application and a lot of ideas as to how to pick colors that will look great on you!

    Judgeing from your pale skin I would say you have a cool colour type? At least, Anne has it. You can easily check that with a few basic tricks. Does silver or gold look best on you? Do the veins in your arms look blue or more of an olive tone? If silver looks best on you, and you have blue veins, you have a cold colour type.

    Make-up colours that work for cool skin tones: 
    Lips& cheecks: Peach, raspberry, wine or burgundy red
    Eyes: brown or black, brassy colours. Even petrol may work if you keep the rest tones down.
