Can I use rinseless shampoos to clean my makeup brushes?

Is this a good idea? I hate the rinsing part.

You might be able to use a no rinse shampoo once in a while but you'll still need to do a good clean/rinse/dry cycle to ensure your brush is truly clean and free of gunk that might support bacterial growth.
