Is Tinsorb approved by the FDA and Health Canada yet?
  • If so when was it approved?
  • I assume you're talking about Tinosorb S (aka bemotrizinol aka bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine). That's the "new" one that provides UVA and UVB protection and is very photostable and non-irritating. It is approved in Canada, Australia, and the EU. It's not approved in US yet because it's lacking long term human safety data.   http://blog.pharmacymix.com/anthelios-sunscreens-now-with-tinosorb-s
  • Okay great thanks yes that Tinsorb S is what I was talking about. I cant seem to find this in any store I go to... I live in Canada.
