Do topically applied probiotics provide any benefit to the skin?
  • I have seen some skin lotions being sold with probiotics in them. I wonder if it actually improves the skin, maybe you could just put yogurt on your face? Here's an example: http://andalou.com/index.php/probiotic-c-renewal-cream.html
PS- I already know the "stem cells" claims are rubbish
  • I think that would be cool there may be potential for topical probiotics and acne in the future but since I have never seen a big brand use them I'm not sure if we're there yet in terms of technology I'm not sure if there is enough of it either.
  • Maybe...

1 - Physiological effect of a probiotic on skin.

2 - Bifidobacterium longum lysate, a new ingredient for reactive skin.
