Rhassoul Clay

    Can a mixture of water and rhassoul clay really cleanse the hair? Rhassoul's mineral content is as follows:

    Silica - 58%
    Aluminum - 2.47%
    Iron - 0.64%
    Sodium - 2.3%
    Magnesium - 25.2%
    Calcium - 2.34%
    Moisture - <8%

    Can this actually cleanse and condition hair?

    Clay can absorb oil so it might help cleanse hair in that respect. Of course then you have to get all the clay out of your hair. (And it won't remove buildup from styling products!)
