What do you think about all the new outrageous false eyelashes?

Some of the other beauty blogs have had articles about the new false eyelashes. Shu uemura lashes really have outrageous lashes. You can get them with rhinestones, polka dots and feathers. They may be fine for the runway, but normal life? I think some of them would make you look like a clown. What are your thoughts on them?

Halloween, New Years Eve, and maybe an over-the-top birthday party. Other than that... I don't think I could pull them off.

I tend to dislike anything that impedes me in a serious way -- those things would be distracting. I'd hate to be a passenger in a car driven by someone wearing them! I also tend to think that cosmetics have done their job best if no one realizes you're wearing them, but that's a personal preference.

Most women would, however, put frozen turkeys on their eyelids if a fashion magazine said so, though ...

of course these aren't for everyday wear, but for parties or nights out at the club, why not?
once my friend wore these falsies with rhinestones at the lash line.. it was very very pretty and sparkly! and yes, we were going out to the club when she wore them..

I have to wear them with my contacts because they brush against the lenses of my glasses....but I think they are fun!

I'd love to try them but don't get many opportunities to wear blingy eyelashes. I think they'd look great but I suspect that they'd be really distracting to wear even if they're not too heavy. I do like the feather ones though.
