We here at the Beauty Brains are new at this Forum stuff but we want to continue to improve it. In this thread we will announce additions and tips on making use of the forum easier. If you have figured out any tricks you don't see listed, feel free to let everyone else know.

1. How to Start a Discussion. Look to your left. There is a rectangular button that says "start a new discussion". Just click it and start typing. You'll want to select the appropriate category for the discussion and come up with a pithy title. Come up with a title that will make people want to read what you've written.

2. How to setup your profile. Click on the "Account" button at the top navigation bar (it's the one just under "The Beauty Brains" at the top left). On the left side, click on "Personal Information". Then fill in the boxes to make any changes you'd like. And if you'd like to let everyone know where you're located, click on "Manage Map Location". Use this Latitude and Longitude website to determine your location.
