Amlactin Lotion - On Face ?

    I have mild facial & scalp psoriasis and have recently started UVB phototherapy. My drug of choice has always been 12% Amlactin Lotion as it deep moisturises & removes scale effectively. I read somewhere to avoid exposure to sunlight while using Amlactin. Does that mean I should not use Amlactin while on phototherapy or I should not apply it & go for phototherapy? I wish there was a better lotion for dry, flaky skin but there isn't.

    you should ask your dermatologist since it is more of a medical issue....

    I spoke to my dermatologist & he does not sem to have a problem.

    The medical conditio apart, can Amlactin be used on the face & does one need to avoid the sun while using it?
