Sapindus / Soapberry/ Soapnut

Hi, I came across an excellent brand called "Biotique" & all their facial cleansers are soap as well as surfactant free. Not sure what is "Sapindus / Soapberry/ Soapnut" but it is the primary ingredient in all their products. They also claim to be fragrance free & color free.

Is the Soapnut a good cleanser or a bad one ? Not sure what it will do to the ph of the skin.

Anybody ?

I'm not sure how Soapnut is on the skin, but it's supposed to be a great eco-friendly way to wash your clothes.

I can't find any ingredient listing for Biotique so I can't comment on their formulas. If you find one, send it along and I'll take a look.

I am also curious about soapnuts. I recently came accross a soapnut shampoo online by The Amma Shop called Soapnuts & Amla shampoo powder. Unfortunately it doesn't list the ingredients. I could only find one online that listed the ingredients.
