Hey everyone,
I just found a great new weight loss cream (I can't find the post of the girl who asked about it). My stomach and thighs are already more toned and I can see my cellulite disappearing -- and I've only been using it for 3 weeks. Here's the website for it: www.tanthin.com.
That or marketing. Sometimes I see these posts and they just make me think that someone who works for the company found the site and decided to do a little word-of-mouth.
It's sort of funny actually to see the occasional comment like this -- doesn't it occur to companies like this that coming to a website run by a bunch of Ph.D.'s who debunk cosmetic myths is a bad idea? You guys are like the James Randi of makeup.
Aparently there has been some research done at Louisiana State using an aminophyline topical cream - http://www.weightlosscream.org/news/researchers-provide-proof-weight-loss-cream-works-2.html.They found that those using the cream lost twice as many cm around the waist than those that didin't. So maybe there is some science behind it. But like most weight loss products, there is always the snake oil salesman trying to make a buck.
@Gabi,
All is not what it seems with the study you referenced. Here is a rational review of the study and conclusions made by it. No placebo control, small study size...Not likely to actually work.
But thanks so much for tipping us off to it. I wasn't aware of the new research.
