Smooth Away

    I've searched the forums and can't find much information on Smooth Away pads or other similar products. I was wondering if these products actualy worked, and more importantly, if the hair growing back becomes coarser over time as with shaving or if their claims that hair grows back finer are actually true.
    From what I've seen online, it seems there ae some mixed reviews on the products.
    Any thoucghts?

    It looks exactly like a product that Sally Hansen used to make. I can't find the Sally Hansen product any more but I found something similar at Ulta. It does work but I've never noticed a dkfference in the hair that grows back. I use it on the tops of my feet and occasionally on my legs. I wouldn't use it exclusively; it would be too time consuming. 
    Ulta's got a good return policy so you could buy it there and return it if you didn't like it.

    I have ordered the Smooth Away hair remover pads and even though it says $14.99 + S & H of I think $6.99. They actually charge 3 different payment of the advertised $14.99,+another $14.99 and a $13.98, they also ask you if you want a 3 month supply for which they charge $19.98,$19.98,& $11.98 + S&H equaling up to $60. :angry: I later was in CVS and found some for $9.99,I bought them to see how good they were and couldn't wait for my order to come in. SAVE your money,they don't work as said to. Your hair will grow back and you have to do alot of "sanding" I call it and kinda had to add some "elbow grease" (aka muscle) to remove my leg hair and it wasn't any "thinner" as it grew back as said. CVS has an exact hair remover buffer in the facial hair size,it's about $4-5.99 and works the same. Once my order comes in I'm gonna ship it back and HOPE to get my $60 refund. :neutral: Also crazy as this may sound I have experimented w/ styling mousse for shave cream and I found that I got a much smoother closer shave. :tooth: I guess it makes your leg hair stand up and my legs were soft and smooth. :happy:
