Stop washing your hair. WATER alone removes color, so try washing it as little as possible. If you have oily hair like me, dry shampoo is your best friend.
Moisturizing conditioners and deep conditioning hair masks. It makes your hair shine and keep it healthier. Good leave-in conditioners, especially if you plan on blow drying or using flat irons.
Limit flat iron usage as well. i found that the heat removes my hair color as well. My flat iron is now pink!
Drugstore brands that I like include Pantene. I didn't like L'oreal Pro Vive that much. Salon brands I like include Joico and Prive. Fekkai's Glossing Cream is my newest and current favorite toy.
yeah I cant not wash my hair i have to wash it every other day or it will get greasy and my scalp will flake, as for heat, I dont blow dry my hair or flat iron, I have wavy/curly long hair it looks better natural than styled...Thank you though I will definately check out some of those products.
Add a squirt of shampoo in the dye before applying it. For some reason it seams to make the color take better. I got the tip from a stylist on TV. If possible, do not get your hair wet for 48 hours after dying you hair. Try TRESemme Color Thrive. It really helps keep the color from fading. It may be had to find in the stores, but you can get it at drugstore.com for under $5.00.
