I have a few benign moles that I saw my doc about and wanted them removed (they are ugly and one is always growing a hair - gross!!). Doc said they are cosmetic (insurance won't cover) and wanted over $300. Can't do that. I started searching for mole removers - I want something safe and natural and hopefully recommended. This one seemed really good so need to find people who have used it successfully.
and I'm just a bit skeptical. There are lots of red flags.
First, they claim "all natural" as if that's supposed to make it work better. Second, it's used by "herbalists" and not doctors. Third, I couldn't find any reference to using the ingredients in the paste in any of the indexed medical literature. Fourth, the web seems littered with comments that sound really similar (as if written by the same person).
The itworkspaste costs $80 and most likely doesn't work. The doctor costs $300 and will certainly work. In the end, you'll probably end up spending $380 because you'll try the itworkspaste and then have to go to the doctor anyway. Who knows?
It's difficult to get an unbiased assessment. If they send the Beauty Brains a sample, we'd be happy to try it. But until then, I say it's not proven to work, so it probably doesn't.
I had a few moles and I bought this product off of Ebay. It actually does work and I have repurchased. The best way to tell if it works is to look at the feedback of actual ebay users. They tell it like it is. I do anyway.
Thanks for the posts luvinsummer and left brain ..... I think the all natural thing is good actually - it is something I look for because after all these years of learning about the skin - I won't use anything that has synthetic ingredients in it - absorbs right into your system. So, you definitely don't want a mole remover product that isn't natural - at least in my mind. All my face wash, exfoliators, masks etc are totally natural and my skin is wonderful since switching. Anyway, luvinsummer - thanks for letting me know it is on ebay - I will check that out. I have always had good luck on ebay. Now, can you tell me more about it's use - like explain how it worked for you and whatnot?
Well, first you have to prep the area so that it can get through/penetrate. Then I set my timer for 20 minutes and wiped it off with water. That's all you really do. You don't have to baby it or anything and I went swimming (they said it was okay) because once the area is cauterized, it's fine to get it wet. Then you just wait for the scab to fall off. Mine fell off in 6-7 days. Let me know what happens when and if you try it.
Thanks for letting me know how things go with it. It sounds really easy. I think I'm going to try it. It is the one I've heard the best reviews on so far so seems like a good one! I'll keep ya posted! Off to ebay I go - lol.
Yes, it was really easy for us. We were done in less than 1/2 hour from start to finish (not counting looking over the directions real quick). And, what I like about it too is that once you treat it, you can swim and get it wet because it's already cauterized. Very easy after care. You just can't get it wet while you're waiting your 20 minutes.
Okay I tried the itworkspaste. I had great results. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to remove moles at home. I used it on two moles (and actually a freckle next to a mole because it just happened to get on the freckle). Both are gone and now have just a pink fading area. I am really happy with it!
Well
I'll be more than skeptical about this one
For one, is not the only product that has sort of the same ingredients and promises the same stuff, there's this thing called amazing touch as well
the other thing that bothers me is that they make a big buzz about being all natural, and they are sort of pretentious using scientific names only
Why don't they tell that the paste you have is cashew nut oil, figs, celandine and lemon?
The whole basis of this creams is the cashew nut oil, which in folk medicine of south america (where I'm from) is used to treat warts, calluses and such
and it usually gives good results.. The is some evidence that extracts have antitumoral properties, and hence it makes sense that it will work for warts, but moles are very different things
The main issue is that you don't know how concentrated the product is, and cashew nut oil can cause dermatitis
it also contains celandine, which is known to be toxic in moderate doses, but it has good uses in the correct dosage, but again you don't know how much you get
In the end, I do not think is worth the 80 bucks,
you'll be better off going to some herbal store and getting cashew nut oil, I bet It will have the same effect, and it probably won't be toxic
The seller has 800 reviews all about the mole stuff? Or has 800 positive reviews for all kinds of sales and now just happens to be selling some of the mole stuff?
I wouldn't touch this stuff. Moles scare me in general. I woudn't want to make them angry...
Left Brain, I checked into the ebay reviews and they are real from what I can tell. I asked for references and got at least 20 emails from people who said it really worked and had all different IP's which can't be made up. So not to worry. Plus, you can't get 800 ebay account with 800 credit cards LOL. Have you ever tried to do that on Ebay? I think that's nearly impossible.
I wouldn't use it if there was cancer, only if the Doc said they were non cancerous.
BTW, doctors have been wrong too. My friend got told it was not cancer, they removed it and it was cancer, then they said it was all out, and it came back. We are all guinea pigs no matter how you look at it.
The reviews are for the seller, not the product. So even those who bought the mole paste are as likely to be commenting on the speed of shipping as the efficacy of the product.
Who did you ask for references? Your source should be impartial for them to be meaningful.
The itworkspaste worked for me...and I don't need to try and convince you. It was worth the less than 50 bucks I paid on ebay...and I no longer have any scarring...so do whatever you need to do.
Hey guys - just a note that I went back and bought the Emuscar they sell with the itworkspaste. and it really seems to help heal it quickly with nice results. I have used plain emu oil many times. The emuscar is creamier and less greasy, smells really good and I am using it to heal some other blemishes as well. Just thought anyone looking at trying it would want to know the extra emuscar is worth it.
I just emailed the seller about it and they were able to ship me that also even though they don't have a separate auction for it. Just ask the seller for it.
I ordered the itworkspaste many weeks ago and no product ever arrived. I've emailed their customer service countless times with only an automated response saying they'll get back to me in 24 hours. I now believe that all positive postings on this product are bogus and done by the scammers of this website. You'll notice that there is no phone number or address listed at this site for follow up! WARNING: itworkspaste website is a scam!
Ugh that really stinks, I feel lucky I live in Canada and both my parents are insured. We don't have to pay anything for prescriptions even my Accutane and expensive psoriasis cream that would have costed 200 dollars was free. I don't think this product is worth it a doctor can give you effective and safe results and you won't waste your money on something that is not supported by evidence to work.
