Retin-A Mirco & Moisturizing

    If you apply the time released Retin-A micro and put a Moisturizer on top of it, would the Moist. interfere with the Retin-A micro?

    I would say no, since I thought Time-released just means W/O/W or O/W/O emulsions and that by putting another emulsion it would have little to no effect on the Retin-A since the emulsifiers wouldn't interfere with it? But then I start thinking that due to penetration of the Moist it will be a shield for the Retinoids (which are time released) to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin?

    My Derm suggested I mix the Retin-A micro with my moisturizer to ensure an even application. From her suggestion, I would think there isn't much of an issue with the moisturizer interfering with the Retin-A.
