What non-beauty items do you use in your beauty routine?
1. I use a silicone pastry brush to apply olive oil and coconut oil to my hair. (We had three and I didn't think my husband would miss one.)
2. I use scotch tape to pick up any stray flakes or bits of shadow or mascara that land on my cheeks. It's easier than trying to flick them off with a brush.
3. I keep a little tub of sugar and a little tub of baking soda in the bathroom. I have a tube of lip balm that I stick in the sugar and then use to exfoliate my lips. I mix the baking soda with Cetaphil and use it as an exfoliant. I'm going to try using it as shampoo this weekend too.
4. Olive oil and unrefined coconut oil for all sorts of things.
i don't think olive oil is a weird thing to have in your bathrum. sugar as well. although i keep that stuff next to my bed. i'd say my art work is a weird thing above my toilet :)
My kids don't usually leave stuff in the bathroom but one of my cats likes to play in the bathtub so I find a lot of rubber bands in there.
I've got vinegar and listerine in there since I'm fighting the good fight against toenail fungus. There are paperclips in there too but I don't know what they're for.
