How do you rate these brands

    I am having a good run with Clinique at the moment & I have tried Paula's Choice, Aveeno, Neutrogena, Vanicream, Cetaphil, Aquanil, Body shop, Cerave brands in the past.
    I want to know how do you rate the following brands as I plan to try products from them.

    Please note that I have sensitive skin & I can't use any cleanser or moisturizer with fragrance.

    I want to know about:-

    Dermalogica
    Skin Ceuticals
    Kinerase
    La Roche Posay
    Boots No. 7
    Philosophy
    L'Occitane

    I tried the Toleriane cleaner by LRP. It is very gentle, and I do like it. It does not do a great job at removing makeup, so I usually use it after a cleansing oil. When my skin gets irritated and sore, I use Atopalm cream. I haven't found anything better for calming my skin. I tried a $40.00 skin cream by L'Occitane, but don't like it very much. Its just too thick.

    What's your skin type?

    Mine is combination and sensitive, acne-prone. So my opinion is based on my own skin type, might not be applicable to you if your skin type is different to mine.

    - I like some of L'Occitane's products. They're generally better for winter, too rich for summer. Note that the products are fragranced.
    - Dermalogica: I have mixed feelings on different products. Not my fave brand. Their cleanser is like a glorified version of Cetaphil. Some friends who've used Dermalogica complete skincare have switched their regime and said that there are other cheaper options out there. They only keep one or two products that they really like.
    - Boots No. 7: I love the cleanser, toner, facial wipes. The sensitive range was fab.

    My skin is combination oily, acne-prone, and somewhat sensitive. I have never used the second, third, and fourth brand you listed. I think Dermalogica is overpriced and overrated. I like L'Occitane, I find myself going back to their Immortelle cleansing foam time after time. However, they are expensive. I also like some of Philosophy's products, like their purity made simple, but they are also more on the expensive side. I am a big fan of Boots, I currently use their expert anti-blemish line and I like it.

    My skin is combination oily, acne-prone, and somewhat sensitive. I don't use any of the brand above mentioned: as pinkbunnies I find Derma and L¡Occitane are overconsidered as skincare brands. I'm on Sesderma, Bioderma, Avene, CumLaude, Martiderm, Jan Marini and LaRochePosay.

    I love love Sesderma salises foamy cream: not a soap, not a cream, removes excess of sebum, clears my nose comedons and do not dry my cheeks...love it. As it is medicated, I use it once every three days. For removing make up, I have only one in my live: Bioderma Sebium micelar water...amazing! Give it a try..you pay it but the result it is worth! As a general cleanser I use Avene Clean-Ac whasing cream, cleanses and doen't overdry or Bioderma Sebium gel depending on their price at the moment I need them.

    My exfoliator Jan Marini Bioglicolic Bioclear lotion

    Scarring lotion and anti-irritant: Cicaplast B5 balm of LaRoche. I help normalize pigmentation with pure Vit-C inert ampoules at 15% concentration of Sesderma or Martiderm Vit C in liposomes.

    Spot treatment: Bioderma sebium AI and Peroxiben 5% (benzoyl peroxide) from ISDIN.

    Sunscreen: Bioderma Photoderm 50+ ultrafluid for oily skin

    Skin Ceuticals has a great daily SPF.  Non greasy, fragrance free.  I tried a Philosophy moisturizer and didn't like it.

    LRP has good sunscreens.  But bear in mind that some of their oily skin sunscreens contain alcohol, so if you need a matte finish sunscreen, read the ingredients.  I haven't found anything from the other brands that I regularly use, except soap from l'occitane (and, for a short time, their hand cream--but it takes a long time to absorb compared to the curel I use now).  I think l'occitane is mostly good for the fragrances, which is what you are trying to avoid.
