When should I begin using a retinol?
  • I am a 25 year old female with extremely dry skin. I have no visible signs of aging, and currently use jojoba and coconut oil as a moisturizer. They both have anti-aging properties.

I don't know much about retinols- just that they are proven wrinkle fighters. When should I begin to use them? Will they prevent wrinkles?

    Thank you!
  • you shouldn't even start using night cream yet. i'm 22 and so far i'm sticky to daily moisturasing with the simpliest cream i can find. night cream will come at 28-30 depending on how my skin looks (the same for eye cream), 35 is my timeline for retinol. my mum is 42 now and she has almost no wrinkles. i have some 27 friends who look twice as wrinklier than her and she grew up in USSR with not too much cosmetics available. so basicly it's all up to your genetics. look ar your mom and draw your own timeline.
