Ren's Rose Synergy O12 Restoring Facial Serum is 80$ for 1 oz.
Is it possible to recreate this serum at home? Of course, realistically I don't mean to imply making it exactly the with the same ingredients, but something similar? Like vitamin e with the damask rose oil with jojoba and rosehip oil? Or can anyone point me to some useful websites/links that are credible to answer what I'm looking for???
In theory you could create a similar functioning serum at home.
Here are the ingredients from thier LOI.
Oryza Sativa (Rice) Germ Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Source Coconut Oil), Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Macademia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Ximenia Americana Seed Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Citronellol, Geraniol, Eugenol, Linalool, Citral, Farnesol, Limonene, Phospholipid (Source Soybean), Oryzanol (Source Rice), Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Seabuckthorn) Berry Oil, Omega 6 Ceramide (Source Carthame), Tocopherol (Vitamin E).
Active Ingredients...
-Rosa Damascena Oil: Soothes and calms skin.
-Omega 6 Ceramides: Strengthen and smooth skin.
-Vitamin A: Stimulates cell turnover.
-Octacosenoic Acid: Helps fight oxidation and free-radical damage.
It looks like they use a blend of
Rice oil
Jojoba oil
Coconut oil
Soybean oil
and a host of other oils. You could get a very similar feeling product by blending a few of those oils until you get the same "feel". It may not smell the same or last as long but it will have about the same benefits.
Realistically, their "active ingredients" won't have a significant impact on the product's functionality. They are put in there to help fupport their story. The oils do the work.
