  • what is the best moisturerizer for severe dry skin
  • Petroleum jelly. Unfortunately, it's not very practical, although it is cheap. The next best  (for me) is Nivea creme (the stuff in the big blue tub.) I only use it at night because it's too greasy to use under makeup but it sure does work. I use Aveeno ultra-calming night cream during the day. I put it on, wait a few minutes, put on sunscreen,  go have breakfast and by then it's dry enough to put on makeup.
  • For dry skin on your body, Aveda Hand Relief is unmatched in my opinion. Plus it isn't greasy like petroleum jelly.

For you face, try Korres 24 Hour Wild Rose Moisturizer. It soaks right in, has intense moisture, but won't leave a film or grease on your skin. You can get a sample at a Sephora store, or buy it online.

Wash your body with Dove Pro-Age body wash. It is full of intense moisturizers. The first four ingredients are water, glycerine, soybean oil, and petroleum. It's cheap, it works, and it smells heavenly. For your face, use Olay Gentle Foaming face wash. It's in a tube, not a pump bottle. It cleans so well, is so gentle and the second ingredient is glycerine, so it's very moisturizing.
  • la roche-posey nutritic range. that was the only thing that cured my dry patches.
  • Hi My name is Marshall Wahlstrom Helgren, Age: 18, Gender: Male Year in School: 2010 Senior in HS. Backround: Norwegian, Born: 4/7/09, Mental Disorder: ADD/ ADHD, Medication : ADDERALL XR 20mg Deodorant: Speed Stick Irish Spring Original (Deodorant only).
I was a excessive sweater but I no longer use a antiperspirant.
I heard a internet net rumor that antiperspirants were dangerous and not Eco friendly. I never thought it was true. But after many hours of research and studying and finding hard evidence it is true. Because i went to a doctor and got a Clinical Strength and it had Aluminum Chloride and Aluminum damages your clothes and runes them and leaves yellow stains on whites and other stains on colors. So I used a Clinical Strength from the store and it worked very well for a while but irritated me and the formula s all weak no matter what brand you use in the end I stopped using antiperspirants. So since then I've been doing is a study on deodorants and antiperspirants and I highly suggest switching to a deodorant only. Besides sweat is natural it's what we do to rid of toxins(waste) through sweat. Antiperspirants are considered drugs by the FDA because they inhibit or reduce sweat and that is all natural that's bad. But deodorants stop odor causing Bactria and sweat causing Bactria with out interfering with sweat on our body. We have whats called Nymph Rods which in turn kill viruses when we get sick, They help release toxins though sweat and then I forget the last one. But if you use a antiperspirant it goes strait to the rods and they swell up so no sweat can reach the surface of the skin. Well when that happens toxins can't be released, That's a BAD Thing. Think about this everything you eat or drink has to be released in some way or another has to be released from the body so it releases through toxins thus convert into water which is then released from the body thus causing sweat. (Same Idea when getting rid of waste when you go to the bathroom. But I wont go there. Besides urine isn't waste in sexual intercourse but you get the picture.) So those toxins then are trapped and then have to go some where else to be released so they might absorb though your kidneys or liver! So that's why there are Cautions on the back of the product. So Be Careful!!! (Now there was some evidence on a deodorant site that I saw saying that Toxins went to a Breast in a Woman( No one in General) and came in contact with the breasts cells and toxins where released there thus causing Breast Cancer. But I can't say that's true in anyway I don't have enough evidence to support the details of the rumor. In my opinion I think Antiperspirants are waste products because there combined with so may chemicals which all claim non toxic by the Company that makes them. Certain People know there Ingredients out there that are dangerous. Besides when Antiperspirants are washed off they get sent in to into water that is what causes pollution. Besides deodorant only is more healthy and odor is far more important to worry about. I am tired of putting wasted chemicals (Nontoxic or Toxic) on my body then washing it off and putting it right back in the environment!! Then thus destroying the natural beauty of God's earth. I want save this planet NOT destroy it!! So in conclusion to such evidence Aluminum-Free Deodorant or just basic Deodorant is more Eco Friendly then Any Antiperspirant. Remember Deodorant is a Cosmetic because it gets rid of Bactria that might inhibit if it comes in contact with sweat thus causing odor or odor causing bacteria. That will not interfere with the sweat function of our body Where Antiperspirants are drugs and reduce sweat or eliminate sweat which is a bad thing. Without sweat our body dehydrate and eventually we die. If no one were to sweat our Human Population would die with in a matter of months, no weeks, no Days. This is the end this comment. thanks to all. Email me if you would like to share your story or if you need further info. My Email is mdwh@mchsi.com
  • That sure is one big heap of crazy.
  • Well, thank you for that. I still like my anti perspirant. Oh, and keeping the off topic  still off topic, might I add this for those of you who also can't give it up- try it for mosquito bites- just spray or dab a touch  on your itchy bites- works better than anything else- honest.
  • MWH - You're 100% wrong. Everyone should use antiperspirant. And dude, speed is bad for you, okay?
  • LOL JamiSings!!!

I forgot to mention how much I LOVE using Crisco as a moisturizer! Yep, that stuff in a can! It goes on so silky smooth, absorbs right in, and moisturizes like a dream!
  • Sorry, I deleted the comment because it was completely off topic and was near impossible to read.  But upon further thought, I think I should've just left it alone.  Sorry.
