The Aqua Glycolic Cleanser was recently recommended to me by the dermatologist's office. The directions say to rub it on your face while dry, then wet, and then to rinse off. From what I've read about Glycolic Acid in the past (mostly from Paula's Choice) is that it's ineffective in a rinse-off product, which makes sense to me. Will the AHA do it's thing if I rub it on my dry face for say, about a minute? The cleanser has 11% Glycolic Acid, and I'm not sure of the ph. Here are the ingredients: Purified Water, Glycolic Acid, Ammonium Glycolate, Cetyl Alcohol, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Sorbitol, Stearyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.
