    I am 26 and have been suffering from acne for 14 years now. I’m hoping that getting off of lithium and onto birth control (tri-cyclin) will help, but I am curious about what to do about how dull and uneven my skin is. All these acne creams and drying face washes have left me with such dry, uneven and dull skin. Are there any products out there that can give me some perk and brightness without causing a breakout? thanks!

    Both niacinamide and Vitamin C are proven to brighten skin. (When properly formulated, of course.) You might look for a reasonably priced, well tested, product like Olay.
