A year or so ago I began using both Suave and Tresemme for their brands with PEC (polyelectrolyte complex) technology, but sadly these lines (Split End Remedy) have been disappearing from the shelves lately. There’s still Nexxus ofc but I was happy getting away with the savings. Have you guys found any new lines or brands with PEC I can get my hands on?

The Suave Split End Serum also uses that technology. I’m not sure if Tresemme still makes the Split End Mender but it was very popular and has great reviews. Like you said, the other Unilever option is Nexxus. They have great formulas too. You could shop at Ulta during their Liter Shampoo and Conditioner sale to save a lot, and couple that with a 20% off coupon, plus any points that you might have on your account. Otherwise, buy the Suave/Tresemme products through AMAZON or through the brand’s site via another online drugstore.

Unilever seems to have PEC in Dove for split ends launched in Russia. But I don’t see this line on US or Canada sites…
