    Hi,

    Ling again.
I was wondering if anyone has any beauty science blogs to recommend?
I know you guys did a post on it already, but are there any more?

Ling: I just added a couple of beauty science blogs to the post we wrote last year: http://thebeautybrains.com/2014/06/18/the-best-beauty-science-blogs/

Thanks for reminding me to update it!

    No problem :)

Oh, I can recommend one actually : http://thecosmetist.com/
I need to go through his posts more but from what I read I love the humour in his writing. Too bad he doesn’t post more often.

Uhhh yeah! there every where, ummmmmm Here it’s not really what you asked for but hold on.

    ^ I don’t know why I do that, it’s a not one on one chat. …. -_-;

Anyways. Here you go, I think you may be intrigued by this page, it has TONS of informative links, and it’s a great site for the DIY-er.

I personally, Get lost on PubMed like it’s reddit. ….

Google Scholar FTW. My phone for some reason doesn’t just go to regular google any more, and I didn’t set it that way… (The machines are learning and we all need to run to the woods now while we can)

Lol. Yes, we should just give them nuclear weapons and a copy The Matrix and get it over with.

Thanks for the link! I updated the post.

Oh and uh, funny I just logged on to post this here because it made me rofl

    https://www.truthinaging.com/review/department-of-daft-spermine-an-unfortunately-named-antioxidant

    And here’s the science

    http://www.google.com/patents/WO2005013932A1#npl-citations

I’m into the idea of making a SAFE couple types of extra literal bio engineered skin care products.  my plan is to neutralize foreign DNA, and other antigens, but utilize the naturally occurring skin care chemicals we toss out. So it’s like ultra hippy hipster vegan recycling. Also super creepy. Anyways, that’s how I got to spermine, I gotta say, I was a bit bummed out someone already thought to make it.  Well, at least you scientists got something to use more besides urea that sicks people out. Wait til you see what I do with mucus….

I am loving the triple helixian. Mostly because I deeply relate to his personal experiences and I enjoy his style of writing.

Agreed. He seems like a real straight shooter.

Oh, my god. Where is this Triple Helixan, and when can I marry him, lolz kidding, but yeah, after reading this,  http://thetriplehelixian.com/2013/04/25/the-meaning-of-spf-and-how-antioxidants-and-anti-inflammatories-can-skew-exaggerate-and-mask-those-ratings/ I would have to agree, I’m now a huge fan, and I added the site to favorites. <3

    I especially like this part!

“Here’s a metaphor to understand everything:

    • Your body = keratinocyte (living epidermal skin cell)
    • UVB light = bullet
    • Sun = gun
    • Direct DNA damage = wound
    • Erythema = scream (from pain)
    • UV filter = ZnO = body armor
    • Antioxidant = green tea = doctor
    • Anti-inflammatory = aloe vera = duct tape”

    Cause it’s creepy like ME!
