Would Aquaphor work well as an eye cream?

The ingredients in Aquaphor are as follows:

Petrolatum (41%), Mineral Oil, Ceresin, Lanolin Alcohol, Panthenol, Glycerin, Bisabolol

Although it may be a bit heavy, I see nothing in the formula that would prevent you from using this as an eye cream. However, to be safe, I’d contact the company to find out if they’ve done eye irritation testing testing.

It’s great for very chapped lips, so I bet if you have excema like issues around the eyes (I’ve met some people with this problem, so painful) it might be wise to try aquaphor or something like it.

Ahhh…. I would like more than safety.  I am looking for a product that will return the skin under my eyes to their fetal state…

Maybe 35 units of Botox? Then apply a bucketful of titanium dioxide and foundation? ;)
