    I have incredibly dry hair right at the front of my hair line (straw-like doesn’t even come close) and everyone has told me I will have to cut it out of my hair to get rid of it, which would leave me with a chunk of hair about a millimeter long. Is there any other way to get rid of the dry hair?

    Have you coconut oil? It’s one of the few things that works from the inside out to help dry hair.
