Best exfoliator

    I have found two good exfoliators personally thinking according to the ingredients, containing salicylic acid, which makes me hesitating. Thus, I came her to ask you the cosmetics experts to help me compare these two products.

    It depends on what you’re looking for. Some people find that products like these that use Alpha Hydroxy Acids to exfoliate are too harsh on their skin. I also can’t tell the price per ounce from this description so it’s hard to say which is the better value. 

    I can say that the first product has a lot ingredients that won’t provide much benefit.

    I am looking for a gentle exfoliator which has less irritation. The first one is only one ounce and the second one has 50 pads. If both seem not to work well, any products do you recommend for the acne prone oil skin? Or how to select a good exfoliator by its ingredients? Thank you!

    I don’t have any specific products to recommend – maybe some of our other readers do? 

    In terms of ingredients, you can go the AHA route with salicylic acid or glycolic acid or the physical abrasion route with things like microbeads, walnut shells, etc.
