I realise there may be some legal implications and if you are unable to answer then I understand but from what I’ve gathered in my experience with GP Doctors is that they do not know/ remember certain things about cosmetics.
I understand the importance of SPF, if there are any tips you have on this please let me know. I’m really wondering what ingredients should anyone who has Cancer/ going through Chemo &/ Radiation AVOID? I know for Radiation they must avoid Retinol.. I can see why AHA might/should be avoided, is BHA safe? (used correctly of course and not a harsh/very potent one). Are other cell communicating ingredients as well as antioxidants safe to use on their skin?
The reason I ask you is because I trust your advice as well as gathering from my experiences with GP – doctors that they don’t always know much about Cosmetics nor skincare.. even Dermatologists can have outdated or know limited information on things from things I’ve read and seen.
Kind regards, I don’t have an iPhone but listen to you guys on ‘Castbox’
I’m sorry but we really can’t give you medical advice. I’m not well versed in how these ingredients may be affected by chemo and radiation. You’re better off checking with your doctor or a derm…and good luck!!
Cancer appears to be very confusing and unpredictable disorder. Radiation Therapy is the best
option to cure the cancer. It uses high range particles to destroy or
damage the cancer cells. It can be given alone or can be combined with
surgery or chemotherapy also. One can get helpful hints here about
cancer and their treatments.
